Our Approach
The Fresh Red Earth tour of the Orana region involving Rhyme (Freestyle rapping / written verse), Drum (Percussion and drum-kit), Dance (Hip-hop and dance and techniques) and Jam (a chance to throw it all together) provides young people with the opportunity to perform their written rhymes, dance and play percussion. The choice of workshop and faciliators related to a survey conducted with youthworkers in the region in late 2006.

Facilitators and Artists:
Paul Mac, Mc Mars (E-Pan) and Sam 'Muel' Howell will return to the region to present a FREE screening of the DVD created from the 2007 ArtStart tour. This footage showcases the different elements of hip hop, discussion of career opportunities in the arts sector and general interactive mentoring session for participants.
